Dez Shoppingcenter was remodeled in main parts in 2004. Special attention was paid to an improved lighting of the mall. According to structural reasons specific mall areas can not be day lighted. For those areas a special lighting concept was developed.

Light fields in form of back illuminated glass lamellae bring an impression of daylight into the mall by using different light colors and intensities. This luminaires are dimmed trough day opening hours according to the outside illumination. This results that the intensities of this areas are controlled according to the areas with natural daylight.
